100th Day of School Celebration
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This week we are starting our Kids Heart Challenge in gym class. I will be sending the parent letters from the American Heart Association when I receive them. There was a delay with them, so I would like to give you some information to get you started. We are trying to raise money for kids with heart disease. In gym class, we will learn how to keep our hearts healthy. We will also be learning heart healthy activities such as: Jumping Rope, Hula Hooping, and shooting a basketball! We will be doing various challenges in class with prizes for them to earn. Your child also can earn gifts from the American Heart Association depending on the amount of money they are able to raise.

You just need to search for our school when you register (Christopher Columbus School, Garfield NJ) Then once you are registered you can share the link with friends and family to receive online donations! I will take care of ordering and giving them their gifts as I receive them! This is a great event for the students! If you have any questions, please contact me!

Our Fifth-Grade Math Team had their Math Competition. The students did an amazing job working together to solve all the problems.
