I plan to make this a fun and exciting learning experience for the children. I am asking and encouraging you to involve yourself in your child's learning experience by assisting them with their homework, checking their homework daily, and talking to them about their day at school. I am available for any questions and can be reached before or after school every day.
HOMEWORK
Students will get homework Monday through Thursday.
Monday:
Math worksheet
Read for at least 20 minutes
Read H.F. Words
Spelling 3x each or Reading/ELA worksheet
Tuesday:
Math worksheet
Read for at least 20 minutes
Read H.F. Words
Reading/ELA worksheet
Wednesday:
Math worksheet
Read for at least 20 minutes
Read H.F. Words
Spelling sentences or Reading/ELA worksheet
Thursday:
Math worksheet
Read for at least 20 minutes

Homework Grading:
Homework handed in on time- check plus
Homework handed in a day late- check
Homework handed in more than a day late or not at all- check minus
Weekend Folders:
Folders will be sent home every Friday with work completed throughout the week. Please go through all the papers. Only return papers that need to be signed. All other papers can stay home. Please sign the folder every week next to the date.
Laptops:
Laptops need to be sent into school every day fully charged.
We love to celebrate birthdays in school! Please refer to the approved food list before sending in any treats!!

1 pencil sharpener with receptacle
2 pink erasers

2 marble composition books
1 pack thin markers

1 pack of colored index cards
